Parent Involvement

An open and welcoming school, Bonnet Bay School has fostered and encouraged significant participation by parents. Over 30 parents and carers regularly dedicate their time as volunteers, enhancing all aspects of quality learning programs for our students.

Parents value the access available to their child's learning, and our students benefit from drawing on the expertise of the wider community.

Parent volunteers assist in classrooms with:

• reading
• writing
• computers
• fitness
• presentations on areas of special expertise
• school excursions

Parents also support dance, drama, music and sporting pursuits, debating and major events such as concerts and celebrations.

Our school has an active Parents and Citizen's Association, which supports and enhances many aspects of the school.
