Learning Support

Bonnet Bay School is pleased to be able to provide excellent specialist learning support programs to assist students requiring extra support in learning situations.

The Learning Support teacher, in collaboration with classroom teachers, provides specialist teaching to meet the educational needs of students with difficulties in literacy, numeracy and learning how to learn.

Students requiring additional support with reading, writing or spelling are provided with individualised programs and support through trained parents and teacher aides under close direction of the Learning Support Teacher.

The learning support team, including specialist teachers, Executive Staff and the School Counsellor, meets regularly to monitor student needs and progress.
