Drama

There are many opportunities at Bonnet Bay School for children to develop confidence and skill in drama, public speaking and performance. Drama and public speaking is part of all class programs, and all students perform several times each year.

Our students' drama performances are shaped by a variety of forms such as mime, puppetry and storytelling. Drama provides opportunity for creative expression and teambuilding as students work collaboratively, taking on roles and creating imagined situations.

Drama lessons run alongside Dance lessons and take place each Friday:

Every class K-6 performs in the annual school concert each semester
Every student K-6 participates in the annual public speaking competition
Weekly drama club open to all students after school in the Hall

Students write, direct & perform plays for our school concerts and talent quests
