Our school has a fantastic range of opportunities for learning, creative expression and teamwork. Supported by staff and parents, our students show a spirit of enthusiastic participation, a willingness to challenge themselves and achieve their personal best.

Intellectual Challenge and Extension
- Graded Maths groups Years 3-6
- K-6 public speaking competition
- Year 3-6 Regional multicultural public speaking competition
- Year 3-6 participate in Australian School 's competition in Maths and English
- Premier's Reading Challenge
- Enrichment/Interest Groups Years 3-6
Leadership, Teamwork and Social Awareness
- Student led assemblies and performances
- Peer support programs including Kindergarten buddies, social skills courses, and multi-year small groups
- Student initiated fundraising for Stewart House, the school's charity
- Year 6 special projects
- Opportunities to take on responsibilities in class, student representative council, team, sporting house and school leadership positions
- Leadership course and camp for all Year 6 students
Creative Expression
Drama
- Every class K-6 has a specialist Dance/Drama teacher
- Students perform at school concerts and talent quests.
Dance
- Tuition and performance opportunities for all students
- Representative dance groups involving 120 students perform at Regional Festivals
- Dance groups regularly invited to perform at special events, e.g. Education Week Opening
Music
- 2 school bands and 2 choirs
- Tuition in 9 different instruments (over 35 children have weekly lessons at school)
- Opportunities for group performances, including Festival of Instrumental Music
- Percussion Group
On the Sporting Field
- 8 PSSA representative teams (in soccer, netball, softball, T-ball, cricket, athletics and swimming)
- Specialist gymnastics program K-6
- K-2 fitness and all-round sports skills program
