Our school is an ideal size. Averaging 145 students Bonnet Bay School is small enough to care. Each child is known as an individual, and does not have to compete with others to be noticed. A welcoming and friendly school, our students feel a sense of belonging and fun which gives them the confidence to take up the extensive range of opportunities on offer and to excel in their learning.
Student welfare is a priority at Bonnet Bay for which all teachers take responsibility. We have a comprehensive range of programs to foster an atmosphere of mutual respect, effective conflict resolution, consideration for others and of course, fun. These include:
Our Learning Support team, including Executive Teachers and the School Counsellor, meet regularly to monitor individual or group welfare issues and to develop programs that enhance leadership, self-esteem, independence, confidence and self-awareness.
